The packaging has indicators that allow you to distinguish sterilized instruments from non-sterilized instruments by changing color.
If the sterilizer works correctly, the external indicators change color to the color specified in the standard, for example, beige turns purple.
If the indicator shows a negative control result, all instruments processed in this cycle are considered non-sterile.
The special thing about these bags is that they allow air molecules to pass through, but at the same time filter bacteria and other micro-organisms.
After sterilization, when exposed to high temperatures, the microorganisms inside the bag die, and after processing, new ones do not emerge from the external environment, which guarantees the safety of sterility of the instruments.
Bags for sterilization are used for processing instruments by air (sterilization temperature is 160-180 °C) and steam (at sterilization temperatures at a temperature of 121-134 °C).
